Stella's Mission

Founded in 2015, Stella Property Development and Event Production is a privately owned and operated company located in the Cambria City Historic District of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. As a family-owned and community-based company, we are firmly rooted in enhancing the cultural offerings and economic growth of the properties we own within the community in which we operate.

We specialize in the restoration and reuse of historical and culturally significant properties and creating events that promote community through the celebration of heritage, tradition and common values. We strongly believe that the beneficiaries of Stella’s efforts are the people of the Cambria City Historic District, the City of Johnstown and The Greater Johnstown Metropolitan Area.

The Casimir Cultural Center is an architectural and artistic treasure of the Johnstown region. For over 100 years it inspired those who worshipped here to believe that through perseverance and faith, nothing is impossible. Today, it stands as a monument to the same creed and serves its community by honoring the past, celebrating the present and creating the future.

We are proud to be located in the heart of the Cambria City Historic District. Built in 1890, our office is located in one of the first buildings constructed in the neighborhood after the 1889 Johnstown Flood. It is listed on the contributing list of buildings to the National Historic District.

Emerich Place and the Piazza Maria

512 Chesnut Street

Emerich Place is a multi-functional, mixed-use space in the heart of the Cambria City Historic District. Named in honor of the former St. Emerich’s Magyar (Hungarian) Roman Catholic Church that once stood on the block sharing space with the property, Emerich Place’s mission is rooted in maintaining the cultural and historical heritage of the Cambria City neighborhood while looking towards the future through renovating and repurposing existing structures.

Stella, Property Development and Event Production is honored to have created this representation of an Eastern European Roadside Shrine Garden in the Cambria City Historic District. It is open to the public enjoyment, but privately owned.
